Quality control points of elevator installation engineering

The quality control of elevator installation engineering refers to the scientific and reasonable quality control of the main key processes in the elevator installation process, In order to meet the performance requirements of the design and specifications; Strengthening the quality control in the elevator installation process can improve the safety performance and good working condition of the elevator operation, realize the safe and reliable operation of the elevator, so as to avoid the occurrence of accidents and ensure the comfortable and safe operation of the elevator.

Different from ordinary mechanical and electrical products, elevator installation is a comprehensive mechanical and electrical engineering system. In space, it is closely related to the building, and in time, it is closely related to the construction process of the building. Strengthening the quality control before, during, and after installation plays a decisive role in the whole elevator installation project.

Quality control prior to elevators installation

The preliminary work of elevator installation mainly includes: installation site investigation work, installation technology disclosure work, people and property preparation work, as well as construction organization plan.

However, by elevator inspector opinion, types of elevators and escalators installation companies generally do not pay more attention to this stage, especially the site investigation, technical disclosure and design of construction organization plans before starting installation. This behavior will undoubtedly bring risks to future passengers!

Mid-term quality control of elevators installation

Installation construction is the process of forming the elevator entity and is also an important stage of forming the final product quality. Therefore, quality control during the installation process is the focus of elevator engineering project quality control.

During the installation process, quality control is mainly aimed at various construction stages, and scientific and reasonable quality control is carried out for each key process. The main job in this stage is to decompose and refine the construction organization plan and specific implementation. Quality control should be conducted for each construction process determined in the construction plan, and quality control points should be set up for important processes. When the previous process does not meet the requirements, it is not allowed to enter the next process. Only when the quality of each process meets the requirements, can the quality of the entire project be guaranteed.

For example, elevator shaft entrance safety covering, installation template making, measurement, and steel wiring, scaffolding or special equipment in the shaft, laying and calibration of guide rails, concealed works, etc. should all be controlled for quality according to the construction plan requirements.

In addition, Should also follow the provision of the organization plan during the whole construction process, actively communicate and coordinate with the general contractor of the building, supervisor, relevant construction parties, etc. to reasonably arrange the installation procedure and schedule.

In the whole construction project, the installation of an elevator is often subject to multiple factors, for example, the power supply of the elevator needs to be accessed by the electric power construction party, the general contractor needs to coordinate the distribution of electricity at the peak of electricity consumption, the construction-related parties need to communicate and coordinate when the relevant floors are crossed, and the construction party needs to correct the errors in the shaft and other civil construction works.

Late quality control of elevators installation

Late quality control of elevator installation refers to the completion of elevator installation, commissioning, and testing by the elevator installation team, and the comprehensive inspection of the elevator by the inspection agency on the basis of qualified self-inspection, and handover to the owner after quality control is complete.

It should be noted that the corresponding commissioning, testing work, as well as the operation test of the scheduled time, impact the elevator running quality extremely significant, it is not only the quality verification of the elevator has been installed, but also related to the performance of the elevator in the future.

According to the typical fault curve of mechanical and electrical products -- bath curve, the operation test at this stage is in the run-in period of elevator operation, and also the highest time of failure. Through the operation test, find out the fault point in time, find out and solve the defects in the elevator installation, in order to bring guarantee for the future trouble-free operation of the elevator.

However, in the actual inspection work, it will be found that many elevator installation team often ignore the running test of the elevator, resulting in continuous failure after the elevator is handed over to use.
